Karin joined the group in Dublin in 2022 after completing a master degree in Biomedical Physics at Comenius University in Slovakia. She started initially as a research assistant and later that year registered as a PhD student. Her PhD focuses on understanding how articular cartilage matures during development and during regeneration using multi-scale imaging techniques.
