Karin represented the lab at the 2025 European Society of Biomechanics (ESB) Conference in Zurich, where she delivered an oral presentation titled “Insights into Chondrocyte Dynamics During Postnatal Development: 3D Virtual Histology of Articular Cartilage.”
Her talk showcased the use of high-resolution synchrotron imaging to map changes in chondrocyte organisation during growth, providing new insights into how cartilage matures after birth and informing approaches for tissue repair and regeneration.
Karin was also awarded an ESB Travel Award.
